It's not balanced...try putting a weight or a bag clip on each of the fan paddles (one at a time) and it may help

Most ceiling fans shake you can reienforce the ceiling mount but that may be a bad thing because that shaking could be transfered to the ceiling in which might crack and you have more problems, they are designed to give a bit back and forth. If it is farely new and it was put together right it should be fine if it does fall and is new send a complaint to the company and work it out with them I sometimes worry about that to.

Like the posters above me said, it might not be balanced. But it could also be something as simple as its screws not being fully tightened. I had the same problem with the fan in my bedroom, but once I took a screwdriver to all of the screws connecting the blades to the fan and the fan to the ceiling I haven't had a problem since.

It's not balanced, the fan in my childhood room had that problem, I hung a lil decoration on a couple of the blades until it stops shaking.

You may not have a balance problem. The air currents in the house can afect the fan as well as the ballance of the blades. Reverse the dirrection of the rotation and see if you still have the problem.

If it isn't flush against the ceiling, but half of a clip clothes pin between the ceiling and the fan. That's what we did, and it worked.
