I recently received a nativity figure of an angel as a gift. Last year I received a wall hanging of angels worshiping. I will not display this crap in my house, but my question is what were these people thinking????????? Do they think that I will say "oh, look how wonderful - let me run get a bible?" Please! It was a real waste of their money because it just went in the trash. I give people gifts that they will actually enjoy.......

I don't think that there are any good guys left in this world, or atleast near my neck of the woods! I just got out of a horrible realationship. I want to move on, I just don't think I can ever find a decent man to love me and my children. I have 3 children, 5yr(girl), 3yr (boy), 2yr (boy), and one on the way. I don't think I will ever be able to find anyone that would love me and my children. I have too many kids for anyone to want to be with me.

Do you feel that The Boondocks cartoon on Cartoon Network is a political satire exposing the flaws of the American people, our government, and shedding the light on “Black Issues” or do you feel it’s racist and damaging to our people or any group of people???? I've never seen books about it, ... but the question is, is it even worth it? ther'es tons of dialects in japan...so it means, if you've learned standard japanese, it means nothing!! you have to learn a thousand dialects? My purpose for japanese is understanding the culture, reading books, perhaps having friends from there someday. so i don't need to learn kansai ben right? or if i do, where d o i learn?

my step daughter lives with me and her dad and we get her up everymorning for school. the other day she put on a pair of high heals to wear to school. her mom bought them for her. her dad and i agreed that she was to young for heels, and did not let her wear them. she went home and told her mom, and you can imagine how that went. needless to say, her mom came to our house and took all the shoes that she had purchased, not real sure of the point. we also bought her a pair of tennis shoes for school and her mom made a comment about the color of the shoes not matching all of her clothes. our standpoint was that the girl picked out the shoes because she liked them and she is only nine and we are not going to buy her a different pair of shoes to go with all of her clothes. that would be wasteful, her foot is still growing, and not to mention that most kids would give anything to have a pair of shoes as nice as hers anyhow and she need not be taught to be selfish.did we do right?
