I am in a master gardening class and I want to impress the teacher. I have tried playing "Don;t Stand so Close to Me" on my ipod station when he comes and looks as my pussywillow plant but he just turns red and limps away.

Anyhoo, will this work?

In a day and age where almost everyone in the United States is well read and educated, why does such a government body still exsist?
I personally believe that this institution totally defeats the purpose of democracy, and probably contributes somewhat to the reason many people do not vote (especially after the 2000 elections).
As I will be able to vote this next year, I really can't find it in myself to want to vote when I know that a) the canidates usually suck, and b) the electoral college makes the final descision anyway.
What are your takes on this, and if you do believe in eliminating this institution, how?
Particularly in a day and age where most politicians just care about their own advancement.

It's like "fi" like in "feed", then "u" like the word, then "ci" like "see", then "ah", then "low".

I was at the convenient store last night with my girlfriend's sister picking up a few things, then all of a sudden an old friend of mine came up to my car, stumbling drunk. she was going on and on about how wasted she is and how many more beers she had to drink before arriving at her boyfriend's house a few miles down the road. all she kept saying was "what time is it? it's time to get ill!" making an absolute fool of herself. she then went on about random stupid things. my girlfriend's sister got out of the car, to just catch up with old times, by her car, then came back into mine shortly. we said bye and took off, then my girl's sis called the police saying there's a girl driving drunk around this part of town. i talked to a friend of mine at work the next day who is also friends with her and told me i was "f'ed up" for doing that. he doesn't understand that a close friend of mine died drunk driving about 2 months ago. am i or is she an "ahole" for doing that?

Now that I have your attention, My question is.... Why must some black people use the word n!gger? That is an insult to our ancestors, when a black guy said's it were looking all cool and saying whats up dawg, but when the white man said's it we get ready to jump somebody. We must respect our ancestors, were always talking about slavery. Why can't we dress properly? Sagging pants and the belly buttons showing. Young black women the only person who's sappose to see our bodies are our husbands. If MLk or Rosa Parks were stll here they would be looking down upon us. What happened to the black commuity, why is that so many of us have to be so ghetto? Some of us cry about how we don't have money and how whites have it better, but if our ancestors didn't fight for our rights, we'd be outside working on our feet every night and day looking for a job that dosn't say Whites Only. We all need to respect our culture and respect ourselves, thats why so many people look down upon us. I'm ashamed!
