Plant a cucumber bush next to the pepper plant and then say dirty things to the cucumbers while giving the pepper the cold shoulder.
It will turn green with jealousy, then fiery red with a jealous rage.

Nope, the best way to make it spicy is to aggravate it constantly.
Circle slowly around it, pronouncing its name phonetically. Stress the 'J' really hard and just say 'no', instead of all that fancy 'nee-oh' stuff at the end.
The 'anti-endorphins' thereby produced in the sap will add some real zing to your pepper, but don't overdo it and make him bitter.
PS: Also, keep jalapenos away from your pussywillow, that sounds painful.
PPS: Turtle Girl, is that YOU????

Nothing you can do can make it hot. Jalapenos come in at around 5,000 scovilles. Red Savina Habaneros at 500,000. Regular habaneros at 275,000.

Sure it will. To be really sure, tie it up to the center post with dental floss. That'll give it the bite you need!!!
