I had a c-section 10 months ago with my son and the scar(very small, good doctor) is still numb in the scar area. Is this normal and if so will it always feel numb?

wel i have had 2 c-sections one 10 yrs ago and the last one 6 yrs ago. well some of the numbness goes away but it still gets that tinging feeling.but that happens when you cut through nevres and stuff. nevres never heal. once they are cut they done.but dont worry to much about it your pretty much forget about it as far as your daily life. enjoy that baby as much as you can cause they grow up so fast.

I've had 2 c-sections (Jan '03 and July '05) and the area still has some numbness to it. It had started to get feeling back, then I got pregnant with our second child, ended up with a repeat c-section and the healing has to happen all over again. I'm hoping it goes completely away, but realistically, it wont. Its never going to feel like it did before the c-sections.

I've had 2 c-sections. My last was 18 yrs ago . It is normal to feel that, but it goes away in time. Congratulations!
