Yes. Find the plate or sticker with the model number on it and write it down. Maybe the serial number too, but that's not usually needed. An appliance parts store can look it up and tell you price and availability. Also, ask them for the part number, so when you go to get it, or want to shop around, it will save time.

Locate your dishwashers manufacturer..... you'll need to locate on the diswasher the model #, serial #'s...Your dealer will be asking for this info. Usually this info is stamped inside dishwasher sides. If all sounds confusing....then dealer might want to send a service tech.

yes, whatever the name brand, look in the yellow pages for a dealer who sells it, they can order one, have done this for a part for my dishwasher and refridge.
