Does anyone have any good tips for drying nail polish really fast? I'll get the stuff that's supposed to dry quickly & I've tried sticking my hands in the freezer or under cold water for a little while but nothing works. I still manage to smudge & mess them up even if it's been a while & I'm being extra careful. I finally beat my nail-biting habit & have finally grown some nails & I like to paint them every once in a while but I don't bother anymore cause it's pointless when I mess them up anyways! If anyone has any tried & true things that have worked, I'd really appreciate it!

My stepfather adopted me at the age of 6. He had 4 kids from prev marriage. Soon after they came to live with us. 40 something years later, my Mother (not theirs) died. I found out the depth of their jealously at that time. Presently, 2 years later, our father is very ill with alzheimers. They have accused me of "stealing" my own Mother's things. A couple of months ago I was at his home and found him living in conditions not fit for humans. I contacted his niece, who in turn contacted human services. They were forced to do something. Two of my "sisters" got guardianship of him and his property and have placed him in a nursing home.

I have to read the obituaries to find out if my father is even alive!

I'm so frustrated. Does anyone have any good advice, suggestions, etc? Thank you.

I now have housemates, and I want to create a new desktop for my computer. If it helps, my O.S. is Windows 98.

What I want to do is create a new, "empty" desktop, so that only I can log on to my "current" setup. If anyone else uses my computer, they will only get a "plain" Desktop and none of my folders, favorites, etc.

There must be a way to do this, without having to re-write all of my current setup.

Ideas?

A husband and wife are getting ready for bed. The wife is standing in front of a full-length mirror taking a hard look at herself.

I just recently broke up with the woman whom i thought i loved but now looking back on the situation i am better off without her. I treated her good, i never said degrading things to her i always gave her compliments and told her how beautiful she was. I even went so far as to suck up to her parents big time and in spite of all this she took my pride and shoved it up my a$$ by cheating on me Why Why Why.
