This is heavy on my mind. I am seperated by my choice, my ex was not as willing to let go. After 2 months of seperation, he knocks on my door and wants my wedding ring back. (We were married 8 years). I gave it up because I didn't want him to think I was harboring feelings for him. However, I am uneasy about my decision, because I would hav eliked to some day give the ring to one of my children. What would you have done in this situation. (I have his wedding band)

It seems to me that some people refuse to forgive and forget things. If blacks can "lovingly" use the "n" word to refer to each other, how is it still offensive for other ethnicities to call them by it? And you don't hear many of us whites complaining about being called "crackers" or "honkies" or any of that. It's just a shining example of social hypocrisy. It's not the 1960s anymore, and people don't have the right to not be offended.

Honestly, I can't say ***.ger, ****, **** or even something like why do most blacks do this without being labeled a racist. First off if i'm racist because I say ***.ger, then blacks should be labeled the same seeing how they overkill the word in songs, movies and when they talk to each other. Why are minorities not labeled racists when they say whitey, cracker, honkey?

I do apologize that you are mad at me for coming like that on the internet but I did my part already and I know God will not judge me for not trying. I do not preach religion or share the name of my church I share with you Jesus the answer of your many problems in life and the only way to Heaven. i used to spank him when he c.ried but i noticed it makes him cry more and makes me feel like an abusive and bad mother. i have started giving him time outs in his room and it works.however how many time outs can i give him in a day before they get ineffective coz i cant exactly give him 20 time outs a day.
thank you all for your advice and encouragement in the first part of the question.
i also try to always tell him what to say instaed of screaming but i think it takes time for him to get over the screaming and i will try ignore him at times
