I applied for a job as a copy editor with an investment firm. I am highly qualified. I was tested, then interviewed by a comittee of five. After an hour of interviewing, I was told that I was no longer under consideration because I did not meet the requirement (NOT stated in the ad) of owning investments myself. Through no fault of mine, I have not been paid a living wage in seven years. The requirement that I hold investments - to edit copy - seems absurd and of doubtful legality. It discriminates against those trying to make a comeback, and those from the lower middle class who are "afraid" of investments and who need exposure to them in order to understand them.

OK, I been going through some crazy stuff & I am not happy. Since I was a kid I have always have a bad temper & anger problem. Used to be suicidial. Feel like I'm hopeless Stressed out w/ school & work as well as being a mom. Even though I have a baby now I sometimes don't see that she is making a difference with my life. Don't get me wrong, she's my world! I've also been so mean to my bf of 3 yrs. I get happy a few minutes and then depress and so upset the next. Bad thoughts about hurting someone or myself being hurt. Bad at having a grudge on someone. I used to be in 2 bad relationships that sometimes I still think about and hurts me but this current bf is so wonderful even though I am being an @$$. He takes care of me and shelter me. Pay all the bills. I am still not satisfied with my life. I tried counseling but doesn't work. I don't have insurance at this time. Do you know where I can get free therapy? What do you think of my symptons?

I've been working out 3 days aweek for 4 weeks. 55 min cardio and 20 min weight lifting each work-out session, yet I haven't really seen a change in my body, nor have I lost any weight. I haven't really changed anything in my diet, so it's not like I'm eating more...so shouldn't I be burning fat by now?

I have a next door neighbor that I know for a fact is stealing the cable signal from Comcast. I caught them tieing into my signal at the cable box and Comcast came out and disconnected it. However, they now have a cable line from the street cable box going into their house. I reported it to Comcast and they are not interested in coming back out to investigate. I have reported this situation to at least two online cable theft services and nothing has been done. I'm amazed the Cable Industry (at least in the case of Comcast) is nonchalant about this. Who can I report this to and actually get an investigation?
