Grated raw fresh ginger and soy sauce is the most popular, but there are a million different toppings you can use. Shaved dried bonito flakes and soy is also very traditional. Come to Japan, it's a lot of fun here, it is very safe, you can drink the water and walk the streets unarmed and unafeared, and, as you must know already, the food is great.

cut into peices and squeeze out the water by placing them rolled in paper towels with baking sheet over them weighted down with a couple cans of whatever. After an hour they are ready for marinade. Alton brown suggests sherry vinegar and worchister in 1:1 ratio soaked for 15 min.

i in my view love asian foodstuff so I usually purely throw some cubes of tofu in a frying pan with really of oil, soy sauce, sesame seeds, a contact of sugar and per chance some sparkling garlic or garlic powder or in case you want it to be really ordinary you could purely purchase a bottle of teriyaki sauce. purely fry it on med-severe for till the perimeters are browned. in case you want curry you could upload curry powder to the tofu. yet another large quick recipe in which you dont ought to prepare dinner is a tofu salad. flow to the asian isle on the food market and %. up a bottle of sesame dressing. Its an off white colour. purely decrease up some lettuce, tomato slices and tofu and upload the dressing. you could also make "egg mcmuffins" with tofu really of utilising eggs. Fry a thick slice of tofu on both facet, upload it to the toasted english muffin with a slice of cheese and some veggie sausage or bologna.

I fry it to death in a non-stick pan until it's golden brown. I turn the heat way down and toss in two tablespoons of light soy sauce or Bragg Liquid Aminos. After that it's good for eating. If I am feeling crafty I will BBQ it after the soy bath. I make my own BBQ sauce.
