I currently have a 38 gallon fresh water fish tank . I plan to purchase a 48 gallon fish tank, it is approx. 46 inches across, and 25 inches deep.. I want something that can handle the weight, which will be approx. 500 lbs. ( one gallone of water = 8 lbs. + rocks and the weight of the aq. itself ). I don't want to pay $250.00 for a stand that they sell at a fish store .. they look flimsy to begin with , and definitely not worth the asking price of $250. What do you use or recommended ? I love MTV, I don't even watch BET anymore. I just wonder sometimes why there slection on Musci Videos is so minimal. Most of the videos are all hits, which is cool, but what about playing some Omarion, Shereefa, Marques Houston, Lil Scrappy, and mabey some of the Rock bands who don't get much air play either. Anyone know who selects the Videos for MTV?

Although I have always worked, I found myself rehoused here after my daughter was assaulted and injured, at 13, by a thuggish boy. We had to flee our rented house and the Council put us in a tower block.

For 12 years it's been relatively ok, we had an elderly lady above and one below. Then the lady upstairs died and a young Chav couple moved in.

Ever since I have had to endure the nastiest, thumpiest teknomuzzak, as well as him screaming at her and bouncing her off the wall (twice, when I and other neighbours called the cops, the stupid girl said "they were playing" to cover-up for him).

I can't abide the way they scream at their poor little toddler, call her a "f*****g little c**t!" or "b*****d!". They keep her up 'till 3 am, dancing or fighting with each other, presumably on drink/drugs.

If I call the police again or report the noise nuisance, they'll only lie, deny it and then victimise me some more; frankly, I fear a petrolbomb reprisal.

Any LEGAL suggestions?

Recently, i had a fallout with my boyfriend, and i almost felt a sense of relief when it happened, because i knew he wouldn't be clinging to me all the time. But all mine and his friends(which are mostly the same,as we all hang in the same friend group) told me how upset he was, and urged us to make up. Basically, he blanked me without so much as a hello for a whole day, and admitted that he only came over to say sorry because my mate told him too. But then he said he really loved me and had been such an idiot and begged for another chance, although that's not the only problem.I was feeling pressured by our friends aswell, so i reluctantly agreed. So my ex has been helping me through it all, he's been there for me every minute of the day, but he told me last night that he's confused!Apparently about me?!He's the only guy i ever really loved, but i'm scared things wouldn't work out again, although we have both grown alot since our split a few years ago. I'm so confused!!

Yesterday I was over at my friends house and her brother told me that I need to chill out. He said "smoke some weed, that will calm you down". Well, I never heard about smoking weed b4 but I went home and went out to my mothers garden. I found all the weeds that I could and I went into my room. I lit them up and tried to smoke them, but nothing happened except that I almost burnt my parents house down!!!! Why would he tell me to smoke weeds?!!!!
