I love MTV, I don't even watch BET anymore. I just wonder sometimes why there slection on Musci Videos is so minimal. Most of the videos are all hits, which is cool, but what about playing some Omarion, Shereefa, Marques Houston, Lil Scrappy, and mabey some of the Rock bands who don't get much air play either. Anyone know who selects the Videos for MTV?

MTV will always play Top 40 type music. Always. Because it's guaranteed to draw an audience. Or at least music that was "bought off".
If you want some of the other stuff, you can try MTV2, Fuse, or any of the VH1 channels that specialize in certain genres.

Hahaha solid factor. the only video software that they have human beings certainly watch is TRL which i'm taken aback continues to be working. i've got no longer watched it considering Carson grew to become into internet hosting it. the only different time they coach movies is early interior the morning while human beings are the two sleep, working, or at college. MTV sucks.

music still comes on mtv? trl is the only music i know of on the channel and you have to call in and vote for the video to be played.

There was cries of "playola" (where record companies paid great sums of money so certain videos would get heavy rotation), but for the most part, it;s whatver will work.
