The neighbour has let it get overgrown so I can not use it and I am trying to find a website or get some advice on this matter. Thanking you in anticipation!

right of way is a legal term meaning exactly what it says .
have you actually mentioned it to him and he's refused to do something about it ?
if so i would suggest you write a letter to him explaining that if you are forced to take legal advice he will become liable for legal costs incurred , alternatively he can avoid any further action by clearing the land .

Is the right of way useful to you, or just irritating to your neighbour?
Seems to me that leaving it overgrown if you do not use it, does not mean that the right of way does not exist. Besides, in Scotland access rights have been changed by law anyway. So if the right of way was in Scotland, just leave it overgrown.

Hi go careful as anything you may do could get you into trouble with the police best thing is to report it to the local council and let them sort it out.

Speak to your local council if you feel you cant speak directly to the neighbours, they will send a letter asking them to see to the overgrowth. Simple.

right of way access ? why don't you go to the citizens advice bureax , or like peeps have already said speak to your local council even better your MP

My neighbours trees overgrew into my garden, so I chopped them right back. Suggest you do the same. Go and bush whack.
