Hi, Everyone. This is my first post. I've been dying my hair my whole life to the point that I've finally reached boredom with "normal" hair color. I've had pink hair, I've had flaming red hair, and I'm not really interested in whole head punk at the moment (I've got a job in a professional work environment, I don't really like "My God, she's a freak" attention) and am considering applying a deep Special Effects purple to my highlights just for a little variation from the status quo. Having expirience with this type of dye, I know it wont just stick with my highlights and my hair will have a nice overall dark purple cast. My only concern is that if I go for a freshen up at the salon, should I choose to go for all over color, having a semi permanent color on my hair will screw up theprocess royally.Should I skip the blackberry hair? Any helpful thoughts would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Does the way a salesperson is dressed affect the way you feel about them? I just bought a new car at a dealership. The salesman was wearing the company polo shirt with khakis and average shoes. He seemed very nice, but tried so hard to look average it made me wonder. Do you think if a salesperson is wearing nice dress pants, pressed shirt, silk tie, leather shoes, and a nice watch that they make more money from a sale than a salesperson dressed average? Or, does it even matter how a salesperson is dressed to affect the way you feel about getting a good deal on a car?

I am starting high school in a small town w/ very few Jewish people (that I know of). I'm not very religious, but my mom says to ask anyone that I think may be Jewish if they are and then invite them over to the house.

So how do I know? I don't understand because what if someone is half Jewish and their last name won't sound Jewish. Also the last girl I asked was Italian and she was really rude about it too.

Based on my last question I compelled to ask... How can you learn to trust someone who repeatedly destroyed your trust in them and expects you to just trust them because they say so. How do you rebuild trust or can you, when history kept on repeating itself up until now? How do you believe things will be different when after 10 years it hasn't really changed much. Do or can you just take the persons word for it?

WAYS TO MAINTAIN A HEALTHY LEVEL OF INSANITY

1. At lunch time, sit in your parked car with sunglasses on and point a hair dryer at passing cars. See if they slow down.

2. Page yourself over the intercom. Don't disguise your voice.

3. Every time someone asks you to do something, ask if they want fries with that.

4. Put your garbage can on your desk and label it "IN".

5. Put decaf in the coffee maker for 3 weeks. Once everyone has gotten over their caffeine addictions, switch to espresso.

6. In the memo field of all your checks, write "for smuggling diamonds".

7. Finish all your sentences with "in accordance with the prophecy".

8. Don't use any punctuation.

9. As often as possible, skip rather than walk.

10. Order a Diet Water whenever you go out to eat -- with a serious face, of course.

11. Specify that your drive-through order is "to go".

12. Sing along at the opera.

13. Put mosquito netting around your work area and play tropical sounds all day at work.

14. Go to a poetry recital and ask why the poems don't rhyme.

15. Five days in advance, tell your friends you can't attend their party because you're not in the mood.

16. Have your coworkers address you by your wrestling name, Rock Bottom.

17. When the money comes out of the ATM, scream "I won! I won!"

18. When leaving the zoo, start running towards the parking lot yelling, "Run for your lives, they're loose!"

19. Tell your children over dinner "due to the economy, we are going to have to let one of you go."

20. And the final way to keep a healthy level of insanity, e-mail this to someone to make them smile and laugh. Its called therapy

ok here is the thing. i like him. i told him about 4 months ago and i liked him since last year and i just told him again. he said "its really okay with me" nothing else.... i dont think he cares and usually he's very nice to me in particular. and we use to be so close on the phone and internet. but now its just when we go out. he offers to buy stuff. and lend me money. and i actually broke up with a few guys for this dude. i mean even one night we were up sending perverted texts. over 50 of them. and he tells me anything. but now it feels like we're drifing
