In my part time job, I do a lot of walking and my shoestrings always come untied. Is there a product to use or a way that one can keep their shoestrings tied all day?

I like the answers about double tie or double knotting the shoelaces(Oops! Sorry, Sweeetness6...had to change up my terminology), but I must not be doing it right. Could someone tell me how to double knot or provide me a link that shows you how?

A double knot is pretty easy. After you tie the bow you just take the loops of the bow and tie them together again (like you do to start the bow). It sounds like you might want to try longer laces or a diff type. I find that those shiny roundish ones don't work very well to stay tied. The flatter laces that come with keds or converse seem to stay better.
They also used to sell these laces that looked like springs, you laced your shoes and then they never untie . . . . maybe those would be of use.

I would lace them so that the shoe strings end up on the inside instead of the outside then i would tie them in a double not behind the tongue that should work so even if they do come untied you wont be trippen all over them

You know the thing you do before you make a bow, where you cross one lace over the other, and poke one through? Double knot by doing this same thing with the loops once you have made a bow. Put one loop on the of the other, take the top one and bend it down to the back, and poke it up through the middle. :)

To double knot them - take the bow part of the shoelaces and tie them together!@

Double tie them. After you tie them once, do another loop. That's what I do for my 9 year old who gets frustrated when his shoes would come untied all day.

Double tie them and then a drop of super glue should do the trick.

After you tied your shoe laces then do another knot in them, they won't come undone then.
