my mom always takes thm out of the husks and puts the corn on the cob in Freezer bags and than freezes them.

As a Chef, I would suggest husking and cleaning, then blanching the cobs on boiling water for 90 seconds, shocking them in ice water, before freezing them individually with a vacuum bag device or a good freezer bag - pushing out all the air possible.

we always husk ours, but I don't see what it would hurt, give it a trial run, do a couple if it doesn't work then husk the rest of it & get on with your life. Have a great day.

We cut the ends off and freeze with husk still on. Still tastes fresh and great.

It does work. I've done it before. It's just as good, I hate waiting on it to thaw to shuck it tho. I'd rather get the shucking over with before freezing it.

Yeah you sure can, we do it all the time. In fact way back then that is how they did it. Just simply pull it out each time you cook and chow down. Its just like it come of the stalk.

that's a hard question to answer because i see the corn in the field one day ;few days later I'm haulin' some clear liquid in my truck to another state if still sober (sorry can't help ya) Hiccup!

yes you can. did you know that if you have eggs that are about to go bad that you can crack them open and put them in a ziplock bag and freeze those too?
