I always try to remember the transistion between awake and asleep and I've never been aware of it. I've been going to sleep pretty much everynight for almost 20 years now, and i still can't recall what the experience is like at all. I have 1 or 2 really really vague memories, but I am assuming that there is a mechanism that makes this impossible. It's like one moment you're laying in bed thinking abuot your day, the next you are waking up thinking about your dream. but the middle part was edited out. Can anybody shed some light on this phenomenon? Is it just me?(doubt that.) Once I remember when I closed my eyes to go to sleep I saw tall hedges(literaly...like tall shrubs or bushes) and there was no ground or sky but only whiteness and I knew for some reason that if i was to cross through the barrier that I'd be in a dream and if I remained on the otherside that I'd stay awake. I want to discover that sort of control again. It was as simple as a light switch.

Here is my story:

I am 23 years old and I have never been in a serious relationship. I am very pretty, I have a nice body, I'm smart, I keep myself well, I am very funny, Im domestic, and I am very sweet--a really good catch, for some reason I cant seem to find a guy that I connect with, I am still going through the "the guys that I like, dont like me back" so whats my issue guys...I am at the point in my life where I am giving up, I cant take guys either treating me like crap, or just not calling back, no relationship---nothing--I need some advice, what is it that I can be doing that might be sending guys running in the other direction?

I stubbed my toe the other day and I prayed to Jesus to fix it 'cause it was throbbin' real bad, but he never did.

Then I finally just walked it off and went in the kitchen to get some Campbell's soup, and when I opened the cabinet door, a big can of Cream'o'Mushroom fell right out on top of the same toe.

Now its all bruised and it won't stop hurting.

Please do not get all grossed out, I have not gotten a chance to see my doctor yet and have no one else to talk to about this. While on my period about 2 mo. ago I got what I first thought was a blood clot, I looked at it because it didn't feel normal. There were these of-white masses (best I can say) that were about the size of marbles covered in this thick heavy blood. Maybe an hour before this happened I experienced a cramping unlike anything I ever felt, so needless to say I got realy freaked out. My period that month wasn't normal, nor were the previous three periods before that. If anyone can give me any input as to what that may have been, and whether or not I should worry. My periods are normally heavy and very painful but ever month they get worse, and everyone I've talked to just tell me it's all part of being a woman. But I do not buy that.
