In my opinion, there are too many people trying to make it as a rapper. I see guys around here sitting in front of the Starbucks trying to sling cd's, unsuccessfully.
It's like professional sports; many people DREAM of becoming a pro basketball player, sometimes dedicating their whole lives to it (when they're young), but the chance of that happening is very slim. If you're good at it, maybe you should keep trying. But if it's been unsuccessful, maybe you should back out. You don't have to back out of music if music is your true passion- you could become a producer, work in a studio, maybe get an internship at a radio station, or something else. Or maybe you can just do what most people do and focus on an education and a career to follow it.
Oh yeah- most people (like me) are tired of rap.

EVERYONE should stop rapping ...LOL
I mean all it is ...is someone talking with background music playing ...anyone can do THAT
Give me a person who can actually sing a note anyday , at least you know they can actually sing and be able to hold a tune.
Rap is the worst form of cheating the Public out of their money I can think of ...honestly ..talking with music playing in the background ....they are laughing all the way to the bank ..ha ha
