No, the magnetic field on the moon is very faint because it doesn't have a roiling molten metal core like the Earth does.

Some of the people answering this question are undoubtedly brain damaged. What does gravity have to do with a magnet? NOTHING! (though the moon does have gravity unlike what 1 poster said) The question is IF THE MOON HAS A MEASURABLE MAGNETIC FIELD. I will leave you with Google to answer that

as we all know that opposite poles of magnets attract each other. so when a magnet is suspended freely it will always point towards the actual south of the earth but it is taken to be earth's north so as to reduce the confusions and ease the studies....

you See every where, where there is gravity the planets have two poles the north and the south,so what happens when you suspend a magnet ............it simply shows the north and the south poles or in other words it aligns in the north and the south(if you consider earths feild is negligible).
Cause all the magnets are made of atoms and are paramagnetic they align them selves in the north and south poles
And always (where ever you are) shows deflection to the north and the south directions of the planet.

I think no because the moon has no gravitational force. As the magnet has it own attracting force, there is no force in the space. So,where will the magnet point?

I think its Yes as even moon has gravitational force.

Moons gravitational force is 1/6th of Earths I guess. Read it in schol loooooooooooong ago :D

no direction
as it does not have a core that can behave like a magnet as in case of earth

It would point north on moon, Cause there is polarisation on moon also.
