Please do not get all grossed out, I have not gotten a chance to see my doctor yet and have no one else to talk to about this. While on my period about 2 mo. ago I got what I first thought was a blood clot, I looked at it because it didn't feel normal. There were these of-white masses (best I can say) that were about the size of marbles covered in this thick heavy blood. Maybe an hour before this happened I experienced a cramping unlike anything I ever felt, so needless to say I got realy freaked out. My period that month wasn't normal, nor were the previous three periods before that. If anyone can give me any input as to what that may have been, and whether or not I should worry. My periods are normally heavy and very painful but ever month they get worse, and everyone I've talked to just tell me it's all part of being a woman. But I do not buy that.

I have an appointment in about 4 days, I am sexually active (same guy for 6 years), my first thought was a miscarriage but I've never had one so I don't know.

Well, that could be a number of things. You could have a cysts, yes but there is also endometriosis. And of course what I have, dysmenorhia. It complicated and painful periods. You might start early one month or start late even a month or 2 or 3 late. Heavy bleeding, blod clots and of course extremely painful pcramps. I use to to have to take pain medicine and anti-inflamitorys. Trust me while cramping my days consisted of nothing but medicine, propping my feet up on a pillow and using the bathroom. That was all I could do.

You say you haven't been able to get into the doctor yet--I hope that means you've made an appointment? I don't want to alarm you; there could be a simple explanation. But you definitely need to get in as soon as you can, especially since you say your periods have been becoming more and more painful lately..

You don't say whether you're sexually active and whether you're you're using any type of contraception. Is a miscarriage a possibility?

For your own peace of mind as much as anything else, sweetie, get yourself to a doctor right away. If you tell him/her what you have shared here, I'm betting they will get you in right away. All the best and take care.

If they are getting worse in pain the it is TIME to get into your OB/GYN ASAP! There are medications you can take to ease this.

Every ones periods are different. No two are the same. Just keep tracking them & discuss with your doctor.
