I'm currently studying accountancy, but I don't really like it.... I am trying very hard to like it. I passed my exams, but the mark's not very high. I like biology and photography but, if I pursue that career, I won't be able to find a job so easily especially when I'm planning to work overseas. Should I pursue what I like or should I continue studying this course? Is there a way in which I can love this course?

I've been a teacher for over 22 years, mostly at the second grade level. Recently, I accepted a position (and signed a contract) for a high school English position. It was a nightmare job- like working as a jail guard. I went from teaching the alphabet to teaching "thugs" who came to class high, had tattoos and piercings all over their body, had no respect for anyone and who refused to do any work at all and did nothing but interrupt the class. I obviously do not have the rapport to work with this age level. I miss my 6 year olds. I cannot do this. The principal said that the board would probably not let me out of my contract. I do feel bad about leaving them high and dry, but I just don't feel like I can teach this level. I have had a substitute for the last 3 days, as I feel I cannot take it even one more day. In Texas, if you break your contract, they can suspend your teaching certificate for a year. I am depressed and need advice.

but you know you are not. I know I am not attractive but this guy I know keeps telling me I'm beautiful, it's flattering because no one has said it before but I am not sure of his intentions, I have heard he has a bit of a rep with the ladies so I think he might be sweetening me up to get in my knickers because he is desperate. Should I allow myself to be this judgemental or go out on a date and see where it goes?
