Change needs person to leave his normal self (personality at ease). And start a fresh on the journey towards unknown area or destination. How about these lines. Aren't they kind of chilling enought to resist the scenario.

Man has a connection with his environment. Man (animals) have a natural tendency to adopt to their environment and be accustomed to this environment. When their is a change in the environment (which is undesired in this case) the 'restless' man experiences suffering which is undesired. For a good example U can consider a polar bear which is used to cold climate to be put in the hottest desert on earth. The polar bear shall suffer and suffer till it dies or if it's body changes according to the environment (adaptation), it will evolve.

Man resist change patially by nature and partially by nurture. The methods of upbringing plays important role. We have taught them to rule to lead and to make their world. Therefore they resist change wen somthing is not happened according to their choice.

Cuz the familiar is always more comfortin than the unknown. Its human reaction to want to feel "safe"..and keep feeling it. Kinda strange isnt it, considerin that life is so full of change? You´d think we would have learned to adapt faster and better by now....

for me, it's because they don't want to do new things that are different, if not, totally different from what they were doing in the past. They are so comfortable with the things that they are doing and to suggest a change is like stepping into their pride.

Because they have a fear of the unknown. Thank goodness that Christopher Columbus was not that way or we would all still be living over in Europe.
