Tumors (lumbs or lumps), cysts and Mastitis in breast occur to due to various reasons .Tumors can be Malignant (cancerous ) or benign..It is necessary to check the breast periodically after menstrual period.Early detection of the tumor allows it to be treated more effectively.weather tumor is Canrous or not can be determined by a doctor only. Easiest procedure is memmography of breast. Not all tumors are Cancerous , but all tumors need to be checked.(

No...most breast lumps are benign (non-cancerous) cysts, and are most common around the time of your periods, then go away. HOWEVER...all lumps or changes in breast tissue should be checked by a doctor or nurse practitioner. You don't give your age, but mammograms annually after age 40, monthly self-exam, and if there is a family history you should be checked sooner.

No. Some lumps are caused by hormonal changes, some come & go at different times of the month. If they don't go away within a few weeks, get them checked out

Not every lump is necessarily breast cancer. However, and this is a big "however," ALWAYS get it checked out by a doctor.

not at all, get it checked but 9 times out of ten they are just a benign lump, or a cyst etc.

My sister has had loads of lumps but they were benign so go get checked out to see and it will put your mind at rest

no most are cysts but any lumps should be reported to Dr you should check after period as before during period you get lumpy breasts they do say you should get to know your boobs

i had a lump in mine but it was benign. you should always get it checked out to be sure. i ended up having mine removed anyway.

no they don't ,could be a cyst that will go away and you could get them when your period is due ,better to get it checked out by a doctor.
