If you bid on something on e-bay and a few minutes later you discover that the items will cost over 200 to ship -if you email the seller and ask to cancel your bid will they honour it? Is there anything else I can do if not?

Basicly i was talking with a recruiter and he asked me some questions that concerned me..
basicly he asked me if i had been on probation or fingerprinted ever.. and i was when i was 17 as a minor but everything was dropped.. and nothing is on my record.. also.. i have a tattoo.. if i am perfect in all other categories would these 2 things hold me back from being able to join?

i set two passwords for booting and my user(myself). two of my colleages also aware of booting password. when i tried to switch on my PC,on resumption to duty after 3 days, instead of prompting for booting problem, i noticed the above message below it "press F1 to continue DEL to set up". I set up supervisor password by pressing DEL, still the above message is appearing. please let me know how to fix the problem.

What I was wondering was how could you download firefox using the ftp command in hte command prompt box? A friend told me the following

I got stuck on the cd-pub part, at this point I have firefox and it is working and I can get it workinng going thru a folder window using ftp:\\ftp.mozilla.org. I guess it's just because it can be done, that I want to know how its done becouse i'm missing something ^_^

I need help in trying to prove my brother is innocent. First of all his exgirlfreind is accusing him of rape. As the investigation goes on they asked her to due a rape kite which came out negative. But right know he is in jail because they are taking her word for it. They where living together so they of course had sex two week priore but so she had hickys but they were old. She clamied it was done the day she clamed she was raped. Second, she reported the rape the day after my brother said he was going to take her to court for custody of their little girl. I know this is her mothers doing. My brothers ex calls us and tells us she is going to drop the charges cuz she feel my brother has suffered enough. Then she gets her pschy evaluation where she does one of her many acts. And passes as a distrube victime. Then she calls us laughing and tells us she changed her mind. We have seen this acts of her for over a year. SHe is pretty good. But my brother has been in jail for two week.
