I think it's hypocrytical for christians to be the aggressor in any situation
They have the right to defend and use force
The question is who is the aggressor - in any conflict
The people or countries who wage war are only interested in accumulating and or protecting their wealth and power
The bible says: What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world yet suffers the loss of his soul

It now seems to me that almost all Christian denominations differ in one only one major aspect; their interpretation of the Bible. Fundamentalists are the most strict, usually taking the Bible quite literally. Then there are Christians who interpret the Bible into a peaceful, harmonious book (a difficult task, no doubt). And there are plenty of people in between.
How do you (personally) decide which parts of the Bible to take literally, and which to understand figuratively? Do you consider the Bible "timeless"? How do you justify these decisions?

One thing I'm having trouble understanding is that abortion is wrong from the Christian viewpoint. Do most Christians believe that abortion is wrong no matter what the circumstances? Say if the woman was raped and hasn't the means to care for a child or simply doesn't want to endure 9 months of pregnancy after already being stripped of her dignity? Or what if the mothers life is in jeopardy due to it? Do any of us have authority to tell her she has to risk her life for the unborn baby if she doesn't want to? But....my actual question is how can Christians use their religious views as the basis for their "Abortion is never ok" stance when the god of their bible uses it as a means of punishment and revenge on people who upset him. Are we to believe that abortion to save the mother is wrong, abortion if a woman was raped is wrong, but abortion out of revenge or punishment is perfectly fine?? I'm just trying to understand the reasoning behind this?

I am talking about the act of waiting for something, or tollerating long periods of time. My MS Word is giving me the word "patients" instead which means people who are sick in a hostpital and that IS NOT what I want. Even Dictionary.com is giving me the same results.

This does not apply for Asian women from Asia because they tend to be very quiet and docile. Only when they get truly fed up with your actions will they make an angry outburst.

I've noticed that White, Black and Hispanic women will try and press on certain triggers of men by Insulting his mother or saying something that she knows will trigger a violent response.

I.e. - I'm gonna leave you and take the baby with me !
- I'm gonna cut your d*ck off if you are cheating...
- Your not half the man _____ was....
- Your pathetic and your d*ck is small...
- You haven't satisfied me in ____ years

Then they get their asses kicked up and down the house.

Its my 6 month anniversary on friday,
I thought it would be nice to get my boyfriend a small gift (im 26, hes 29). anyway, Im terrible at keeping secrets, I get excited about buying gifts for people, so I txt him monday, saying I had bought him something small for our 6 month anniversary.
He got really angry, and told me that you should only celebrate 1yr anniversarys, and that I sent him a txt monday, to make him feel guilty so he would buy me a present.
we had a huge fight about it, I didnt expect him to get me anything, I thought I was doing something nice.

okay I am an overweight 18 yrs old straight male. I am 5'4. My boss is transferring to another department. I'm applying for his job; as his assistant and second-in-command for the past three years, I have every confidence in my ability to be successful.

However, my boss tells me I lack communication and management skills; he has downplayed or not acknowledged my accomplishments for some time. I believe this is because he has been working less and less for the past two years after starting a family. Several people have questioned the hours he puts in and how much he accomplishes, and he has taken that out on me.

Since my boss will still be working here in another department, I don't want to say anything negative about him. BUT - deliberately or not, he underestimages and misjudges my abilities. In all fairness, I don't communicate with HIM well, mostly because he changes the subject or gets mad if I say anything he doesn't want to hear.

How do I handle interview questions such as, "How would you deal with a difficult person," etc.?

I am extremley quite at work i rarely speak much besides the congenial hello and good by. I am very reculsive. People have even said to me that they dont know much about me and i've worked here for a while. Could the situation presented above lable me as a lush or alcoholic and could I become a victim of slander? Other people were drinking/smoking and having a good time but I fell that I may have gone over board.
