Avoid getting too serious too fast. Get to know her. Be complimentary but don't get carried away with it. Do not smother her with too many phone calls, etc. Let her have some space. An occasional sweet note, card, flowers, for no reason is nice. Do not be jealous if she speaks to other men. Enjoy her for the way she is and don't try to change her. I guess this advice could hold true for either men or women.

if shes anything like my missus dont talk about mens magazines around her and wen ur out dnt get caught starin at randoms. ive told mine that ill look, then go back to checkin her out=) make sure she knows shes the only person u think about as well. good luck
