I am extremley quite at work i rarely speak much besides the congenial hello and good by. I am very reculsive. People have even said to me that they dont know much about me and i've worked here for a while. Could the situation presented above lable me as a lush or alcoholic and could I become a victim of slander? Other people were drinking/smoking and having a good time but I fell that I may have gone over board.

Funny thing about drunks is, the co-worker who's just as drunk as you, never notices how drunk and obnoxious he is, but the next day, he will surely remember how drunk and obnoxious you were.

properly, I develop into intoxicated even as the scent of warm temperature semen hits my nostrils. I also sense intoxicated through a field of plant existence, ocean salt spray and robust orchestras taking section in song through the full Composers - Mozart, Beethovan, Bach, Brahms, Vivaldi etcetera.

you made a fool of yourself. for sure, slander will ensue. now it is up to you to show all that you just made a mistake, overdrinking. you don't say it, you prove it by deeds. you act sensibly all the time. the next time there's a company party, just eat and have perhaps one beer. no one likes a drunk.

I wouldn't worry about being called a drunk, they'd probably assume you can't handle your alcohol if it's the first time they'd seen you drunk. I would be a little embarrassed though, maybe you should explain yourself if you really care what they think of you or are in fear of losing your job. $hit happens!

the first thing you do to save face and not be labled as an alcholic is to apologise and say something like you didn't know you couldn't handle liquor. the next get to gether you attend, stay away from the liquor.

A work situation is a work situation. I wouldn't chance it unless you don't give a crap about your job. Are people treating you differently?
