My children love different shows.Jennifer(15) loves "Crossing Jordan"(and so do I)and other crime movies,Robert(12) likes horror movies and sometimes wants me to see them("The Ring" or "The village"),Kateline(10) likes feature films and some fashion shows...John(7) likes movies like "Virtual Rangers",Emma(5) loves cartoons and the twins(Benjamin and Sandra,age 2) like cartoons for babies and the news!So I'd say every kid if different.

Our 7 1/2 month old daughter watches the news and Law and Order. I've tried getting her interested in Blue's Clues, but I generally end up watching that alone.
I have no problem watching the news and L&O. She seems to like the national news, though and my husband has to watch that with her, I sometimes find it a bit dull.

I hated Disney stay-action dramas. If it wasn't a caricature, I went someplace else interior the domicile.

Baby First TV, when she goes to Grandma-mas! Here, we watch "Between the Lions". She's only 6 months, so she doesn't really make me do anything, but I try to keep it on something child-friendly when she's in the room.

Family guy, Simpsons, and God help me- AMERICAN DAD! The first two I can kinda get thru but american dad is totally stupid!!!! Thats why my son has his own tv now! lol We still watch tv together alot but when his shows come on- he watches his and I watch mine! lol
