Please don't cry. It's true that time heals all wounds, and also that time wounds all heels, so the dirt bag who made you cry will pay some day in some way. Get off polls and surveys and punch up jokes and riddles 'cause laughter is the best medicine, and if all goes well you will soon be crying tears of laughter.

There are two things to be considered here. First, the old saw you're referring to does not specify a dosage, so it may be that you simply haven't had enough time pass to do the job. Second, according to the way you've quoted the adage, it says time CAN heal our wounds, not that it WILL. You may have to pitch in with some therapy of your own.

because there isnt enough time to heal ALL wounds. It depends on how strongly you feel about something. The stronger the feelings, the more time it will take.

You are right....it is a song....I cry for a while till I can honestly grasp the reality that that person DIDN'T deserve me and good riddance, then the crying stops once and for all and I, for one, NEVER LOOK BACK.
