Basicly i was talking with a recruiter and he asked me some questions that concerned me..
basicly he asked me if i had been on probation or fingerprinted ever.. and i was when i was 17 as a minor but everything was dropped.. and nothing is on my record.. also.. i have a tattoo.. if i am perfect in all other categories would these 2 things hold me back from being able to join?

The tattoo shouldn't be a problem at all unless it's on your neck/face or hands... about the fingerprints... I'm not sure what the guidelines are for the Coast Guard, but I know that in the Army, as long as you weren't actually sent to jail your should be fine... but then again, I'm not positive..... oh, you can also try to look at the boards on military.com because they answer a lot of that type of questions
