Generally all the above qualities are said to be virtues, but in practical experiences a person having them suffers unbearable torture from the society. Then why should we call these virtues ?

how comes in most cases of voice can somebody and myself make that distinction myself. Similar to the way you can distinct a Jewish American in voice (from what i have seen).

I hope i have not been watching too many movies, sorry if I have.

how is it that heterosexual couples that are atheists or satanists (though that could be considered a religion too) can still get married? why is homosexual marriage such a big threat to the sanctity of marriage and these aren't?

even if these people get married by the justice of the peace, it is still called marriage and they recieve all the benefits as anyone married under god would.

...by the way, i support freedom and rights for all and separation of church and state.

Who else -other than I - believes there's something else in Mountain Dew (soft drink) that's addicting -- in addition to CAFFEINE? ( ok , i know that Dew has more caffeine & sugar than most other soft drinks), but I can drink 2 or 3 times as much of Tea OR Pepsie and it will not help my Mood or lift me up - so to speak------the way Dew does? i think i'm gonna try to gradually cut my dosage down and get off caffeine, because i remember how it felt to be normal when I was pregnant--long ago!
but in past i've tried to get off Dew and find Dew more addicting for me than most nerve med's i've been on and those were MANY?

I've known I was attracked to women long before I really had any kind of attraction to men. I have never been w/ a woman beyond kissing etc...after coming to college I ended up in a relationship w/a man. I am not really the cheating type & I have been faithful. My problem is my bf wants to get engaged. all this got me thinking that maybe he isn't "the one" the feelings I have toward him are more like friendship. If we were to breakup I would still want to be friends but he says that would be to painful for him. Several of my friends think I should just stay w/him because I would be happy but maybe not completely happy. I really don't know what to do. I don't want to get married & regret not at least dating a woman or end up meeting "the one" be it a man or woman after I am already married What would be worse being married to your best friend
& then meeting the one OR Not marrying your best friend & regreting it later because there was no such thing as the one?
