The story is amazing. And it's something that you don't see much of in society today so when we read it it moves us. I love that book, it gets me everytime. The movie is good too but not as compelling as the book.

I didn't cry though...

i didnt cry readin the book. i cried watchin the movie tho. the only thing that annoys me in all of his books is that they all situated in the same place. in carolina, south or north. one of them. i cried readin message in a bottle, a book that i absolutely died after readin was My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult.

oh my goodness..I own the movie, read the book and I cry EVERY time I read/watch it. I LOVE that movie and I think it is such a beautiful/deep story.
