I have a friend that drinks...She has kids, a husband....etc....anyway.. It is odd to me the way she drinks....it's almost daily. I call her to ask her out and she says no, can't meet you, I've been drinking...so I can catch her on a non-drinking day, once in a while...

What gets me is she drinks heavily, but keeps an immaculate house, yard, she even routinely checks oil in her cars. She won't drive if drinking. She cleans while drinking....I asked her once if she was concerned about how much she drank and she said no, not really....

This is where I'm at a loss. The girl can drink 18 beers and clean and never slur a word, she won't drive though, but she'll wake up at 6am no problem...

What's the deal??? Know anyone like this? (This is a 5 year long thing I've been wondering....5 years I don't know if I should call her an alchy or a freak...or whatever....)

Two women were out for a walk with their dogs. One had a Doberman pinscher and the other had a Chihuahua. As they sauntered down the street, the one with the Doberman said to her friend, "Let's go over to that bar and get something to drink."

The lady with the Chihuahua said, "We can't go in there. We've got our dogs with us." The one with the Doberman said, "Just follow my lead."

They walked over to the bar and the one with the Doberman put on a pair of dark glasses and started to walk in. The bouncer at the door said,

"Sorry, Lady, no pets allowed."

The woman with the Doberman said, "You don't understand. This is my Seeing-Eye dog."

The bouncer said, "A Doberman Pinscher?"

The woman said, "Yes, they're using them now. They're really very good."

"OK," the bouncer said. "Come on in."

The lady with the Chihuahua figured convincing him a Chihuahua was a seeing eye dog may be too far fetched, but thought "what the heck", so she put on her dark glasses and started to walk in. Once again the bouncer said, "Sorry, lady, no pets allowed."

The woman said, "You don't understand. This is my Seeing-Eye dog."

The bouncer said, "A Chihuahua?"

The woman with the Chihuahua said, "A Chihuahua? They gave me a Chihuahua?!"

What is the difference between:

1. A cornerback and a wide receiver? It seems that they would have identical sets of skills and abilities, and one player should play both sides of the ball.

2. Right and left ends, OLB's, tackles, guards, etc? What makes a player better on one side than the other?

3. Kickers and punters: once in a great while, you can see a kicker do punts, but you never see a punter do kicks. What's so hard about doing both? Also, why do kickers always do kickoffs? I'm sure there's been situations where the punter has a stronger leg. Also, if the punter gets injured, the kicker can fill in, but whenever the kicker gets injured, a position player who used to do it in college or high school or something fills in.

4. MLB's and OLB's: are their skills that much different? or, is it a size/strength/speed issue?

I am travelling up from London by car. The game is against Greece tomorrow and kick off is 8pm. I plan to arrive in Manchester around 4.30pm and would be grateful of any help and advice on where best to park so I can have a good chance of leaving the ground and getting back on the road home quickly. I will be in the North stand.
