The mobile phone is a great invention. You can talk to you’re friends and family from almost anywhere whenever you choose to. So why do you have to do it right next to me? .. this is the question u hav e in ur mind rite?.Some people naturally speak louder when they are on the phone, and sometimes if there is a bad signal they will often repeat what they have said several times. Perhaps one of the main reason we resent people using a mobile in close proximity to us is because we only ever hear half the conversation. It doesn’t make sense. We are naturally curious and like a puzzle with half the pieces missing we frustrated by being unable to see the complete picture.

This irritates me too! Usually because signals are not very good, they're in a noisy environment, person they call the same so they can't hear each other. My partner works in teh building trade so you can imagine trying to talk to him, or hearing what he's saying! And i hate shouting so when we can't hear each other ... We simply text, and agree on a time when we call one another (Know we'll be able to have a conversation). I wish more people would do it because there's nothing as bad as being anywhere, shops, restaurant, etc. Hear a mobiles ring and hear people shouting to get heard! If i had my way ... Mobile phones would have to be switched off in public places!

I hate people who shout when they are on their mobile, I can understand if they are in a noisy place like a pub, but when you are on a train where there is no background nise there is just on need to shout.

that puzzles me but in a noisy environment shout so they can hear them selves a pain when you are on the other end phones pick up background noises easily so people shout to try and drown the back ground noise

LOL I hate that too. Actually the phone already magnifies the voice. I think because they hear sounds around them and can't hear well that they feel the listener can't either.
