Phimosis is where an uncut male cannot pull the foreskin back behind the head of the penis.

I ma 23 and I cannot do this either. I only found this out recently. Not only can I not pull it back while erect, I cannot do this soft either.

Getting it cut (circumsised) is NOT THE ONLY OPTION!!!! I wont get mine cut, and I am trying some stretching techniques whic do work. Within a week I am starting to see some results.

Here are some useful links.....

Phimosis is a condition where you can't retract the foreskin behind the head of the penis. Mild cases only make it difficult, severe cases can cause pain upon erection. It's actually fairly common before puberty but it usually resolves itself something during puberty, quickly dwindles to like less than 5% by then end.

Mild phimosis can be easily cured by stretching the opening of the foreskin for a little bit each day over a period of several weeks. Prescription creams also help that process. As long as you can pee and get an erection without pain this is perhaps the preferred method of treatment. The majority of people who have phimosis at all have it rather mild. This treatment is not only easy to do, but it's also cheap. It just takes a few weeks.

More severe cases may require surgical intervention with a fairly wide variety of surgical methods, complete circumcision being the most radical.

Phimosis is a condition where the foreskin of an uncircumcised male cannot be retracted to expose the glans fully, right down to the sulcus or groove behind the corona. This distressing condition may be caused by adhesions between the foreskin and the glans or it may be due to the foreskin being too tight. Either way it's very bad and must be corrected. If you have adhesions, they may be broken down by means of a blunt probe inserted beneath the foreskin by a doctor and worked thoroughly round to clear the adhesions right into the sulcus. You will need to apply petroleum jelly to the area where the adhesions have been broken and retract your foreskin regularly and completely until your penis has healed to prevent them reforming. A tight foreskin may possibly be stretched to make it retractable However, by far the most satisfactory solution in either case is to be properly and completely circumcised. That way you will gain all the numerous benefits of circumcision and lose that phimosis once and for all.

phimosis only happens in uncircumcised males. what happens in this condition is that the foreskin can not be retracted over the head of the penis. this may be congenital (since birth) or acquired due to poor hygiene, infection etc.
paraphimosis on the other hand is having able to retract the foreskin but not able to unretract it back causing edema, pain and tenderness on the head of the penis.

if you cant retract your foreskin, that's phimosis. its a pretty benign condition unless you feel some other urinary symptoms.

maybe you should have yourself circumcised.

i dont even know what the disease is, you can look any thing like that up on the web. ok now i know, is your foreskin pulling back normally or is it sticking to your glans? if its sticking or very hard to pull back you need to see a doctor quickly.
