She is 12 and her mother just now finally told her about her period. (b/c we kept pushng her to.) We didn't want to take away her Mom's right to tell her. We had to say either you tell her or we will b/c we didn't want her to be with us on vacation or have her over our home when it happened and her not knowing what it is and freak out. Now we are having the same issue about sex. We have caught her listening outside our door while my husband I were having sex so she is obviously curious. She says she hasn't had the sex talk yet. So, should we threaten her mother again or should we just tell her this time?

I'm currently working in Asia and the person I love is working in Mexico. We're trying so hard to make it work, and our love is holding us together. But it's really so difficult sometimes I just break down in exasperation. We talk almost everyday.. but I have nobody to hug and kiss, nobody to hold hands with in the movies.. you get the idea. My sister is in her late thirties with two divorces and several unsuccessful relationships. A few years back she got pregnant in a relationship but the guy left her. She called me and asked me to support her in being a single mom but I refused. I told her that a baby out of wedlock was unacceptable and than she broke up with me for four years. Afetr that she went for some counselling, rehab for alcoholism and i slowly resumed an erelationship with her. I decided to pay her a visit and was very excited about meeting her after such a long time. My parents also has d planned to be there and make it a family reunion but suddenly out of the blue she called it off and told me not to come. Everyone is disappointed. She has lots of grudges against me and still holds them within her. She told me that I am a nasty person and unsupportive and said Goodbye. I am very disheartened. What went wrong is what is bothering me. Is is my fault or is she mentally unstable?

This is just a little poll to see what percentage of that generation is still alive. Please answer yes if you are part of that generation, or no if you are part of a newer generation. In the bible a generation is about 20 to 30 years. Israel became a nation in 1948. In 2 more years we will start the 3rd or 4th generation since that time. It's about time that Christians move that goal post of prophecy up. It would be ridiculous to still be saying that that generation will not pass away before Jesus comes in the year 2048, would it not?

Remember in the 80's when bible prophecy profit makers were getting everybody excited about the tenth nation joining the EU any day and this being that last prophecy to be fulfilled for Jesus to return? How many nations are in the EU now?

I am a single mom of a boy aged 12 and a girl aged 10, and as is normal for kids of that age I have to tidy up after them., and sometimes my daughter will help me in her own little way. My problem is that the other day when i went into my sons bedroom, daughter following me, to tidy up I found a couple of mens magazines on his bed,how women can pose like that I dont know, I quickly shooed my daughter out of the room, although from the questios she asked later I realise ahe saw some of the pictures.From the state some of the pages were in I can imagine what he was doing, which I suppose is normal for a boy of his age. My problem is how do I tell him to make sure he doesnt leave these magazines out again without embarressing him or myself, and how do I explain to my daughter about what was going on in the pictures.
Any serious and useful advice would be appreciated.
