Here's a question: Does Tony Blair get to bring his laptop on his government plane? Can Laura Bush keep her lipstick with her on Air Force One? Does Dick Cheney take off his shoes and get them x-rayed before he flies? How about Condi Rice's knee-high lace-up boots? Is her mission to Israel delayed while she tries to re-lace them while balancing her laptop bag on one shoulder and trying to get her watch back on?
It seems to me like our glorious leaders are pretty good at setting out the "minor inconveniences" that the rest of us have to put up with, but when was the last time you heard of any of them enduring the same measures?

Now, GW Bush may say, "But I'm no terrorist! Why shouldn't I be able to bring my hip-flask onto Air Force One with me?" But I'm no terrorist either. I don't see why the man should be exempt from his own rules. If it's sauce for the goose, it's sauce for the butcher.

These people tell us that these are the necessary austerity measures in the extraordinary times. If FDR told us to fast on Wednesdays and turn our furnaces off on Fridays to help the war effort, I’d expect him to do the same, even if he had a bunker full of canned goods and his own private free energy heater. As far as I can tell, 100 percent of the "security measures" to "fight terrorism" apply to 0 percent of the people who makes those decisions.

I have a GE stove and dishwasher that are only about 6 years old, but the fronts are impossible to clean. After only about 2 years a kind of greasy heavy film developed on the oven and dishwasher door (outside). I've tried regular lyson kitchen cleaner, 409, scrubbing bubbles, and orange glo (which made it much worse). Any suggestions?

I have a 1994 Toyota Paseo. I don't have the factory manual to it so I'm not sure what weight motor oil I should put in the car. And I checked and there is nothing under the hood to specify what type.

I was just prescribed Effexor for depression, anxiety, and OCD. Has anyone had any side effects from the medication? My biggest concerns are weight gain and fatigue which I had in spades while taking zoloft.

i am a 33year old man who is nearly blind and living in lancaster ohio 3 years ago i was accused of pedophilia by my neighbor in my apartment complex and surrendered myself willinglyto the police to avoid a bench warrant when it went to court the charges were dropped and i was acquitted on all counts and the woman was ordered to pay restitution in small claims court yet yer ssi because she is 88 years old and has a payee will not release even section 1 of the payment she was ordered to make and the woman who accused me keeps running her mouth in the court of public opinion as i have a restraining order in effect due to her conduct against me but i am not even safe to walk to the corner store 3 blocks away because she runs her mouth to friends with people my age that i raped her grandson meanwhile it was proven untrue in court is there any legal recourse i can take other then moving to shut her up and make this end once and for all???
