I am taking Once a Day vitamins and I feel I am hungry all the time, therefore eating more and gaining weight. DO vitamins do that?

To answer your question NO you should not gain weight taking vitamins. On the other hand you should take vitamins that have a higher absorption rate than 10-20%. If you are gaining weight you should reconsider your brand of vitamins. Vitamins should help you gin energy and balance in your system thus causing you to feel better. Although vitamins are only a part in total wellness the higher the absorption rate the better you will feel. I take the vitamins from a company called Melaleuca and they have a 95% absorption rate. The vitamins and minerals are pre-bonded to fructose molecules which allows your body to absorb them more effectively. if you are interested just let me know at cbrdecko@yahoo.com

No vitamins won't make you eat more. Are you under any more stress right now more than usual? Sometimes we eat more during this time. Start taking some daily walks for 30 minutes if you can, and walk at a good clip, you'll see the weight come off and you'll firm up. Try to not eat after 7:30 at nite too.

First of all, you need to take the One a day vitamin with food because it contains fat soluble vitamins which need fat in order to be used.

Vitamins have no affect on hunger. They are not an energy source. They just help the body make energy.

Look at any other changes in your diet because I bet there's something else that's making you hungry.

multi vitamins do not make you fat. they do not make you eat more. it'sHOW MUCH one eats, WHEN one eats, and WHAT one eats that makes one fat.

Good luck to you my friend.
