if you receive a document(being a wedding list) in exel format with lines and grids,?

what is the easiest way to put into a simple word document so that i may change the size and font at once?

Open NOTEPAD in your Accessories folder (Program section of the START MENU).

Then open the speadsheet. Select all of the text, and use COPY from the EDIT menu.

Then click on Notepad and use PASTE.

Then open Word.

Go back to Notepad and use SELECT ALL from the EDIT menu. Then use COPY from the EDIT menu.

Then get into your Word document and use PASTE from the EDIT menu.

(of course, you could also do a Mail Merge)

Select the entire document, copy and paste in Word. It should work just fine. However, you can change the size and font whithing excell the same way as in Word.

go to tools>>>options and uncheck the grid line box
to change the font size click the top left box and it will highlight the whole document, then select your font size.
