Well, If u want an immediate remedy, I really dont know. Bit over aperiod of time you can modify ur system so that u never get constipation.

Drink lots of water thru the day. Especially try 2 glasses 9half a litre) of plain warm water as soon as u wake up.

eat lots of fruits and non-soluble fibres like oats. A cup of plain oatmeal porridge for breakfast is a good way to ensure you have a good bowel movement the next day.

Eat early in the night. Atleast an hour before you hit the sack.

In general maintain a healthy lifestyle!

Prune juice works well. You might get more excercise, drink more water and eat more fruits.

You can also buy fiber supplements where you find vitamins in a wal-mart or grociery store.

Try drinking apricot nectar. It tastes much better than prune juice and works just as well. You can also take a couple of tablespoons of mineral oil as well.

Mineral oil. Fluids. Fiber. Do something physical to get your abdomen moving, then relax to let the gut do it's work. Hope you feel better!
