I was told two weeks ago I was "definitely hired" at a local coffee shop, and I'm eager, obviously, to begin and make money. I've been the one to call the manager every time-- and they haven't taken the time to call me. I keep getting put off. I know that this is probably, if anything, a bad sign about their manager... but I really need money!

My girlfriend isn't getting home until after 9 PM tonight; I get off work at 3 PM. I'm thinking this is the perfect opportunity to get hammered drunk with minimal nagging. However, I've been doing side work all week and haven't been to my cage fighting classes in six days. I should really go there tonight, but opportunities like this are rare.

my 8 year old had speach problems his whole life and finally got his tonsicles removed and they found several lumps in his throat and had to remove them he is fine but because of the lumps the say he couldn't hear the sounds right now that the are gone he is doing better but is really behind. I'm considering a trip to Europe to visit family and am trying to plan things out. At the moment, I'm scheduled for about 14 days in Paris. I have some friends that I'll meet at Paris for the duration of my stay there.

Is 14 days too long to stay in Paris?
Are there other cities in France I should consider visiting for day trips or longer?
