We broke up a couple weeks ago (our son is 7 mos). At first we were on the same page, we agreed he was going to pay child support & get visits. Well, now he's pissed. He heard a rumor that I was out last weekend making out with a bunch of guys at a bar, which is absolutely untrue! Now he's saying he doesn't want anything to do with me or my (our) son. He says he wants to sign away his rights. What does this mean for me? I have an appointment with a lawyer but not for another week. Do I have to consent to him signing away his rights? Can I change my son's last name to my own? Is there any way to still get child support? How can anyone feel this way about their own son? It's not like we're in high school, we're 24! Doesn't he need to grow up??

We are a family with 2 young kids and not enough money so decided to get a lodger. She is great in many ways although a little young and a little thoughtless at times. How can I approach some of the issues without causing friction? For example, wine spills on carpets, washing up left in the sink for a few days.... Nothing is major but the lack of thought bothers me!

If you can convince that it is morally wrong, I won't do it. I heard women find it creepy which I don't understand why. B/c for men, they would feel like,"oh I am this hot that they can't control their urges when they see me?!" However, it felt wrong to do it, I was just trying to reason it.
