I am looking for this book that is a collection of poems. I remember the title as Runaways but that may not be the full title. One of the poems has the repeating line "please don't flunk me" and goes on about this kid forgetting to write an essay or something for class. A complete title and author would be great. THX

Idealy, we should since this is a country of equal opportunity. It would make sense that we'd not only have a alternate religion president, but a female or non-white. Albeit they would have to be a perfect candidate to overcome sceptics.

But I believe a new religion on the White House would offer a new perspective and might even increase relations with countries whose religion conflicts with Christianity. And obviously, with the Bush Administartion, Chirsitianity does not make for a good presidency. Maybe it's time for a change?

In a certain island natives speak lies & visitors speak truth. I was on a visit there & asked the waiter in a hotel to tell me whether the woman sitting opp to me was a native or not.He came & said that "She says that she is a visitor here". Can you infer whether the waiter is a native / visitor?

i m married for 4 years now.i was expecting for the first time.my husband and me both were very happy and planning for the baby.we even decided the name.but in my 3rd trimister i lost him.he was 7 and half months old.unborn.died in my womb.i used to tell him the stories every night and write letters to him telling all about myself and his dad.we both were so happy.but then this happend i we lost him.it is almost a year now but i m not out of the pain yet.i still talk to him in solitude and cry for him a lot.i m ok with the fact that he is gone but not ok with this fact that why me?
what went wrong?i do not want to come out of my son but in that way i think i m blocking ways for others.i was so selfish at that time when i lost him that i never even ask my husband how was he feeling at that time of grief.i was so busy crying for my baby that i became so selfish.i do not do that but still sometimes i cry for him as if he was only my part.pls help.wana be good to my husband.

We have entered a "New World Order" where the American Constitution is just an arcane piece of literature that does not apply to modern society. We the people are losing more and more of our rights. In all probability a Demoncratic government will be elected and our second amendment rights will be completely erased. The current Republicant government is already taken steps to pave the way. The popular vote is a brainwash job and does not mean squat as to who is elected president. The president is "elected" by an electorial coledge.

With the price of gas going up, everything is going up (gorceries, housing, etc...), while our pay goes spiraling downward. The "open" border with Mexico and trade with Communist China garenties that we will only be able to compete economically by working longer hours with less pay. The road to an armed revolution gets shorter every day.

Given the technological advantages of the USA I feel such a move would be unwinable. Comments please.

My wife left me because of my irresposibilty and lack of compassion, and habit of doing dumb things. I went to physciatrist today and he told me I have a form of depression called Dysthimia which is a sort of depression disorder that can cause all teh above actions. She just left me what should I do. I am seeking treatment and talking about the reasons why I have this disorder (before her time). Should I ask her to forgive me and try to work it out or ahould I work it out than let her see the difference.

I understand using it to prevent a dog from destroying things while you are gone, and I understand how it is used to housebreak the dog..but truly I see no point in doing it now dont get me wrong I am not insulting anyone who uses a crate, I just can't imagine how it would really be any different if you didnt use one at all... My dog chewed a few things as a pup but I taught him not to and provided him with his own toys which he has used instead of my things since he learned the difference which was about right after I got him.. he never chewed my shoes...and I left him often when he was young so that he would never get separation anxiety, he was housetrained in 2 days and did very well asking to go in or out sure he had accidents when I was gone but I used pee pads and he only went on them. So why bother to use a crate when you really don't need one and can teach your dog how to be behaved without ever using one? I want to hear why you think it is better to use a crate or not.

Remember in those old cartoons whenever one of the characters gets a black eye that they would put a steak over it as a remedy? Like Elmer Fudd. Who came up with this crazy idea? The cartoonists? Is it because it is something cold to help with the swelling or is there some other meaning to it? When my husband and i met i told him from the start that most of my friends are male. I've always been like that, well he always acts like he's better than them whenhe meets them. I started a new job over a year ago and got to know a guy at work, I didn't keep it from my husband,i told him right away and even introduced them. Well my husband calls him a asshole and other things, and there is no reason for it, he doesn't even know him. I told him that if he got to know him he would like him and he still refuses. He was like this with all my friends until he got to know them. The thing that pisses me off the worst it that i had to like his friends from the start, they were his friends and i has to deal with it. How do i explain to him that it bothers me that i have to bust my butt for him to get to know his friends. I feel like everything i say doesn't matter, he gets so defensive. and it hurts me because i've tryed everything............PLEASE HELP ME
