Can you laminate your birth certificate?

I know you can't laminate your SS card. But I didn't think it'd be the same for birth certificates. So yeah, I already laminated it, hopefully it's ok.

I'm going to try fishing in Scotland?

I am going to try trout fising here in Scotland. When I was younger I had a rod and was going to try it out again the other day but unfortunately it is now broken. I would like to start this up again.

Any of your dog have weird/cute habits?

My doggy Honey has this weird habit.. When she sleeps in her fleece oval bed ( like these http://www.fortunepet.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=16&products_id=172 ) she would bite on the edge and keep it in her mouth while sleeping (kind of like how babys suck on their thumbs) hah, its cute. She cant sleep without doing that. Also is that normal?

haah and also one funny thing is that she drags the bed with her EVERYWHERE. She follows me and my parents around with the bed hah (:

What do you do to help someone here (on Y!A) who appears to be seriously thinking about suicide?

PLEASE - Take a look at the user "Bill"'s home page and just read through his latest questions. He's been saying for sometime that he is planning to hang himself tomorrow (i.e. Saturday). He even answered one of my questions, saying the same thing. Apparently he is a recovering (and relapsed) alcoholic with little money or prospects in life whose g/f also left him, etc. Okay, I know that lots of pranksters make up all kinds of stuff here to get their shock factor kicks, but somehow I have a feeling that this guy is truly mentally disturbed and in need of immediate professional help. What do you think we/anyone can possibly do to help in this case? Can/should Y!A people try to do anything about it - perhaps by sending him an e-mail and addressing the issue? I lost a most precious friend a couple of years ago to suicide and since then I have learned NOT to ever take someone's suicide threats (even if it appears to be nothing more than a cry for attention) lightly. Thank You!

Should a biological father that owes $15,000 in child support be allowed to visit his child??

He's making payments, but only started three months ago, and he's had contact with his daughter for the past two years, but her mother refuses to let the girl visit him. Is she wrong? I'm afraid she's going to cause herself a lot of future pain by keeping them away from each other. I think when the daughter is older, she is going to resent her mother for this action. Don't get me wrong, the dad made a huge mistake not paying support, but if he is making an effort now, and pretty consistant with two years of phone calls, emails and cards, shouldn't he get another chance? Or did he miss the boat a long time ago?

Why do YOU fight for gay rights?

I'm not saying you shouldn't, I want to know why you personally fight. Do you have a story? Do you fight just becuase it is right?
