well ive found out what they are called! how do u wear them? i mean i dont wanna just tie it around my head and have a knot in the back. i often wear my hair up with these so i want it to look as smooth as possible. thanx for the help!

The possibilities are endless. You are only limited by your imagination. I say, just stand in front of a mirror and experiment with different sizes of scarves and different foldings of the scarf.

You could wrap you whole head with a good length of material and wrap the ends in the back like a bun; you could do a turban like style with a little knot on the side; you could do half of you head by folding the scarf in half; there are many ways to wear it. Just play around with it and you will find which styles suit your face the best.

There's always the Jackie O style where you take a large scarf, have it go from the top of your head down to under your chin, crossing the ends and wrapping to the back of the neck where you tie it off. Add a pair of sunglasses, and voilà! It's a little bit old style, but that just makes it a classic.
