My doggy Honey has this weird habit.. When she sleeps in her fleece oval bed ( like these http://www.fortunepet.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=16&products_id=172 ) she would bite on the edge and keep it in her mouth while sleeping (kind of like how babys suck on their thumbs) hah, its cute. She cant sleep without doing that. Also is that normal?

haah and also one funny thing is that she drags the bed with her EVERYWHERE. She follows me and my parents around with the bed hah (:

Any of your doggys have weird/cute habits?

I have two - My Pomeranian likes to scoot his butt across the floor really fast and it's hilarious to watch and my miniature Dauschaund cannot live without this rubber ball that has feet on it. She puts it in her mouth and the feet stick out and it looks like she has buck teeth. It is absolutely hilarious. I love my dogs :)

I have a Boston Terrier that will hold a toy in her mouth until she falls asleep. She is really waiting for us to play with her, and doesn't give up. She can be so stubborn. It is cute though.

I think it is okay for your dog. It may be a habit from being pulled away from her mother too soon, meaning before she was 6 weeks old. I had a kitten that was taken from her mother too soon and would suck the fur of my other cat because they slept together, it reminded me of sucking a thumb. The cat was a bit neurotic, but then again, so are many humans. So don't worry and just enjoy your cutie.

a million. Barking 2. ingesting garbage 3. Burying stuff contained in the backyard 4. Barking at her ball 5. Chewing on used tissues 6. ingesting gum off the sidewalk 7. Howling at the same time as left on my own 8. Shaking at the same time as excited 9. Sticking their nostril on your crotch 10 ingesting the cat's food 11 Urinating tiny spots on the Vet's 12 Being a finished mattress hog 13.Licking the floor for scraps 14 Vomiting contained in the vehicle 15 Scavenging contained in the trash. i ought to record many more effective, yet that could help slightly. She has at one time or yet another performed a lot of them. She nevertheless does 4, 7, and 14, something she used to do each and every now and then, not with too a lot frequency. As she is getting on in years i'll dispense with the any type of teaching now.

I have a german shepherd/sibie named Indiana Jones and he has way too many quirks, here are my two favourite. He loves water he hates baths. When we take him to the dog park, he will make a mad dash for the little pool, jump in, and lay down with his ears peeking over the top of the pool edge. When I tell him I can see his ears, he lays his head down in the water so hat I cannot see him.
The other comes around bedtime. Much to the shagrin of my boyfriend, Indy sleeps on the bed with us, normally at the foot of the bed, but he starts the night right nest to me...on my boyfriend's side of the bed. he will slide the dog over to my side of the bed, but before he can crawl under the covers, Indy will jump back to where he was and lay back down. This kind of tug-o-war will last for a little while and in different variations (Indy will lay his head on me and not let my boyfriend near me, dig at the covers until he has all the blankets to himself, lay in between us or on the pillows). It is really funny.

Yeah, my dog (3 year old puggle) has a lot of cute things he does. He smiles, and I mean smiles lol he shows all his front teeth (top and bottom) its ear to ear :) Also, when you call his name he brings you a toy, but he doesnt want you to take it to play fetch or anything, he just wants to show it to you, and if you take it he gets mad. He sleeps with me and my fiance in bed and he always lays horozontaly (and stretches out his legs) so hes got the whole bed to himself and were all squished lol (Its a queen size bed and hes only 35 lbs! lol) He also eats people food alot and when he doesnt like something I give him he spits it out on the floor, what a brat huh lol If hes waiting by the door (which means he needs to go potty) and we open it, he'll look out, and if he sees the ground is wet from it raining he refuses to go outside, that little booger will hold it for hours until HE thinks its dry enough to go outside! Now that I think about it....maybe hes a little spoiled. I love him so much and I wouldnt change all his crazy little quirks for the world :)

Yes, my dog Jasper asks every visitor for a treat one after the other and he will only ask whoever hasnt given him one yet...He goes up to them after they sit down at the table, and he talks to them kind of like a ow ow ow it sounds hilarious, and then he kinda jump/walks backwards to the fridge (the treats are on top) and spins into the corner created by the fridge against the wall and looks straight up at the treats, then back at the person and talks to the person he wants the treat from, if they arent paying attention to him he will go over to them and talk and nudge thier hand or put his paw on thier leg...but if they try to pet him he dodges and talks again and jump/walks backwards to the fridge while looking at the person and talking then if they look away he gives a squeaky kind of yelp thats really high pitched to get thier attention and then looks up at the treats again as if to say "they are right there, come give me one already! I am so cute and smart you know you cant resist!" and they usually cannot... it is funny though and he does it all of the time, he also tried to invent a really good way to get extra treats from me, I wanted to teach him to come in from the backyard whenever I called right away, especially when he was barking at other dogs so when I called him and he didnt come I would add "want a treat?" and he would come running and I would give him one for being so obedient, however, after this he decided that he should ask to go out and then immediately scratch to come back in and then go to the fridge and try to get his treat...lol I swear he was totally trying to get more treats just by going out even when he didnt have to and then come right back in....needless to say I figured him out and he didnt succeed in getting treats for nothing..lol

Here is a pic of him begging by the fridge...lol
