I have been with my guy for 8 yrs on and off. We moved in together a year ago and now I can't stand him. He never wants to go out and if I go without him he gets mad and he sometimes snaps on my , but we do have our good times also and he'll be super nice and caring. The thing is Im only 22 Yrs. old and Im not sure what to do at this point With the relationship. I'm happy 60 % of the time and sad the rest... Anyone??

Why don't we have a wireless adaptor plugged into our power outlets that would allow appliances to draw power from it wirelessly in the same way radio stations transmit large amounts of radio signals or in the same way wireless internet works?

Serious question. As an atheist faith and reason are on opposite ends of the pole to me and I want to find out if it is different for others. As a scientist if some said the Earth was flat and offered their faith as evidence I would dissmiss it as a silly. If someone walked to the edge of the Earth and dropped a penny then I would believe it.

I put this in the Science section because it would be the best place for those that understand empiricism but also those that may have faith in a religion or supernatural powers.

My wife, children, and I are searching for a Christian Church to call home. We have attended various Protestant churches (mostly Episcopalian), but for a variety of reasons always find ourselves being pulled toward the Catholic Church.

Our concern is that we are progressive Christians. Is it possible to be progressive and Catholic?

For those of you who are progressive Catholics, how have you come to terms with some of the teachings of the church that aren't, well, modern?

My husband and I are really compatible. So I was really thrown when a doctor-friend claimed that physical sex (the act performed with a partner) could never be as good as brain sex (daydreams/wetdreams). I know he has a great relationship with his wife, as well. He made this claim based on medical experience/education. Where is he coming from? Or am I the only one left out here?
