Because different foods cause different gases to form in your body. Different gases have different properties and one of those properties is smell. The general rule is that vegetables make you pass gas more but the gas smells less, meat makes you pass gas less but the gas smells more.

Everyone farts, I like to let one go in the supermarket, but enough of that.
As food is processed in the stomach by those active bacteria, gasses build up and are released through your annus.
Avoid eating too much of the following, onions, parsnip, brussel sprouts and cabbage.
Some meals will make you fart and burn your bum at the same time, but don't stop eating curry it is wonderful.
Remember it is healthier to fart than not. Where ere you be let your wind blow free.!!!!!!!!!!1

Depends on what you ate. The special bacteria that makes your farts stink is what processes the food your body can't. The more they process the stinkier it is.
