I hunt gopher's on almost a daily basis. But I only go snipe hunting when the conditions are JUST right. It's got to be a really dark night, and when you hear a snipe in the distance, you need to get out the snipe call, and turn on the flashlight. They are SOOOOO attracted to the beam of light, all you need to do is throw it in the burlap sack and they run right in after it

I helped take someone snipe hunting once. They were so excited to be the one to hold the bag open. LOL! Too bad they walked home.

never been snipe hunting but have lots of experience hunting and trapping gophers...mmm good, tastey little treats if you know how to cook them
