My boyfriend who promised me the world... told me that he loved me. And I believed it! Last May he needed $200 to for a consulate appointment to get a visa to come visit me.. and he asked for my help. I sent it. He told me that they "denied" his visa..and the money was nonrefundable. It wasn't until last week.. he told me he doesn't love me and that he doesn't want to be friends anymore. AND.... he admitted that he "USED" me all this time (a period of 3 years.. we met when he was in bible college in the U.S. He graduated last year.. went home due a teaching contract in his country at a bible institute).My heart is broken. I honestly believed in his goodness because of his profession. I was mistaken. I have spent at least three thousand dollars on long distance... not to mention presents.. on birthdays, Christmas..etc... I am asking for advice on how to deal with this.. I am hurting.. Please help!

My dad, he just came back from Iraq after 4 months of being away(he's not a soldier just a civilian worker) and although I'm really happy to see him again, it feels like I hardly know him any more. I've had millions of emotions and thoughts run through me since he's been gone all building up to when he got back, and now its like I have nothing to say. I dont know how to tell him how much I've missed him, how much I love him, and how much I would give to see he more than a week or two every four months. I'm a bit of a wreck and just dont know what to do.

Okay, basically everything is owned by the Government and every food and material based industry is governement controlled. Entertainment is controlled by the people. The Gov. gives out food and clothes for work done depending on family size and need. Family size and need would have to be checked regulary, but hey.

well i have this beautiful ring from my fiancee that is my promise ring/engaggment ring and i want it to be my wedding ring. my fiancee however thinks we should get a new engaggment ring like a princess cut or something like that and a new wedding ring. hes like "you can of course keep and wear your promise ring but on your right hand. i want to get you a real wedding ring set." so my question is do i let him or do i put my foot down and say i want my promise ring as my wedding ring and thats final? so what do i do? im not a selfish person as some of you might think. my ring is just very imortant to me and i dont want to take it off my left had and replace it with a new ring. ya know?
